CAMS backgrounder
CAMS combines TENS, quartz crystal technology
TensCam is a groundbreaking medical technology that combines a TENS (transcutaneous electrical nerve
stimulator) unit with a transducer containing a quartz crystal to relieve pain and inflammation.
The normal frequency of the human body is 7.86 vibrations per second
TensCam technology is based on a quantum physics principle known as the Schumann Resonance Theory,
which states that earth—and the average alpha brain wave in the human body—resonate at a frequency
of 7.86 vibrations (or
hertz) per second. This theory dates back to the 1950s.
Areas of pain and inflammation vibrate at a higher or lower rate
Inflammation—characterized by pain, swelling and redness—lies at the root of disease. At the cellular
level, inflammation causes the normal electrical charge on the cell membrane to become adulterated,
making it difficult for cells to maintain and defend themselves. Areas of pain and dysfunction vibrate
at a higher, or lower, frequency than the normal 7.86 vibrations per second
Electrical current stimulates healing
Robert O. Becker, MD, demonstrated in the 1960s that "electrical current is the trigger that stimulates
healing, growth and regeneration in all living organisms," writes Daniel L. Kirsch, PhD, in
Pain
Management: A Practical Guide for Clinicians (CRC Press, 2002 edition). Trauma affects the electrical
potential of cells in damaged tissues, and injury repair occurs in response to signals from an electrical
control system-a system that becomes less efficient as we age.
Quartz crystals have electrical properties
Quartz crystals have long been known to be strongly
piezoelectric, that is, able to generate a voltage
in response to applied electrical or mechanical stress. This piezoelectric property allows quartz crystals
to produce a nearly constant output frequency.
TensCam works by normalizing the body’s frequency
A CAMS unit, directed at areas of pain and inflammation, is a no-touch treatment method that works by
normalizing the vibrational frequency—relieving pain and inflammation almost instantly.
Each CAMS unit is attuned to the user’s bio-energy
Although the normal human energy frequency is 7.86 vibrations per second, there are certain electrical
phenomena that make each person unique. These individual differences require each CAMS unit (except the
Personal Tuner) to be specifically attuned to the one person who
will be using it (either for self-treatment
or to treat others in a
clinical setting).
A CAMS unit is programmed by the intention of the user
The thoughts and intentions of a CAMS user direct the unit. When a person turns on a CAMS unit, he
or she programs it by exhaling forcefully though the nose while visualizing the problem area of the body
to be treated.
4 CAMS models are available for sale to clinicians and patients
Clinicians and patients may purchase a CAMS unit. However, patients require a doctor's prescription to
buy all but one model (the Personal Tuner).
There are no reported side-effects
An estimated 4,000 CAMS treatments are performed around the world each day. There have been no reported
complications. A 2002
double-blind, placebo-controlled study
with 100 volunteers at the University of Central Florida also resulted in no reported complications.
