About CAMS Founder and CEO Charles J. Crosby, DO, MD(H)

Crosby Advanced Medical Systems, Inc. founder, CEO and director of research, development and marketing Charles J. Crosby is a board-certified orthopaedic surgeon with more than 30 years of clinical experience. Dr. Crosby’s practice specialties include neuromuscular medicine and pain management.

 

Dr. Crosby is board-certified in:

•    Osteopathic manipulative medicine
•    Pain management

Dr. Crosby is recognized by the State of Arizona as a medical doctor trained in homeopathy MD(H). For 15 years, he was an orthopaedic surgeon in private practice.

He relocated from Michigan to Orlando, Florida in 1989 to accept a position as a pain management specialist for the Veterans Administration (VA). This position allowed Dr. Crosby to conduct a significant amount of pain management research.

Dr. Crosby and two other VA physicians achieved an 86% success rate and reduced the use of pain medications by outpatient clinic patients by 45%. Much of their success was due to osteopathic manipulative treatment to correct skeletal misalignments, and to other modalities often referred to as “energy medicine.”

After he returned to private practice, Dr. Crosby’s success at the VA led him to explore energy medicine in more depth—and led to his founding of Crosby Advanced Medical Systems (CAMS).

He introduced the first CAMS unit the TensCam Classic in 1998 (now known as the TensCam/RJV Jr) and has since developed four more energy-based healing devices:

  • He has also served as an assistant clinical professor of orthopaedic surgery at Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine and West Virginia College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Dr. Crosby received his doctorate degree in osteopathic medicine from the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Kirksville, Missouri.
